Recipes

Been trying to upload a pic since yesterday using hello but for some odd reason it wasn’t uploading it. I guess I will need picasa (by Google). Anyways I shall just upload those two recipes taken from kraftfoods.com . Life is same, same sucky schedule, same tension and frustration at work and same progress. Oh yea there is a new development, I have developed still non significant but noticeable backache(Medussa any tips?). Hopefully if I get more peace of mind and time I shall write about something which has recently become pain in the ass for me. Until then Enjoy these.

Strawberry’s season might be over but I am sure you can use any sort of fruit with this easy to make desert.

Floating Fruit Parfaits

Prep Time: 15 min
Total Time: 1 hr 35 min
Makes: 6 servings, 1/2 cup each

1/2 cup sliced strawberries
3/4 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Strawberry Flavor Sugar Free Low Calorie Gelatin (I used Rafhan's Strawberry Jelly powder)
1/2 cup cold water
3/4 cup ice cubes
1 cup plus 6 Tbsp. thawed COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping(any whipped cream would do)

DIVIDE strawberries evenly among 6 dessert glasses. Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in medium bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add cold water and ice cubes; stir until ice is completely melted. Remove 3/4 cup of the gelatin; pour evenly over strawberries. Refrigerate 20 min. or until gelatin is set but not firm.

ADD 1 cup of the whipped topping to remaining gelatin; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Spoon evenly over gelatin in dessert glasses.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.

(Optional)
Top each parfait with 1 Tbsp. of the remaining whipped topping just before serving. Store leftover parfaits in refrigerator.


Easy TOBLERONE® Chocolate Mousse
(I shall call it jugaroo :P recipe)

Prep Time: 5 min
Total Time: 11 min
Makes: 2 servings

8 triangles (about 2-1/2 oz.) TOBLERONE Swiss Milk Chocolate with Honey and Almond Nougat
1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

MICROWAVE chocolate in medium microwavable bowl on HIGH 1 minute or until melted. Cool 1 minute.

ADD whipped topping; stir with wire whisk until well blended.

REFRIGERATE at least 5 minutes.
